Cost and Deadlines:  $110 if postmarked by April 15, 2011, $150 after April 15, 2011]

Note: Family discount (in same household), after regular camp fee for one person; $20.00 off for additional family members under the age of 18. Example: Registration prior to April 16, 2011, Dad = $110, Son = $90.

Age Limitation: Age 10 years or older.  Ages 10 to 13 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times.

Special Notice:  Camp is open for registration beginning at 2:00 p.m.!  Cabins will be selected at registration and campers are NOT permitted into the cabins prior to registration.   THIS CAMP MORROW POLICY WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED!

WHAT TO BRING:

Appropriate clothing for cool weather and the chance of rain, sleeping bag, pillow, toiletries including towels, flashlight, Bible and notebook.  If possible, provide your own fly fishing and tying gear, float tube, boat, etc.. Don’t forget money for raffles.  We always have some great items.    

 

WHAT TO EXPECT:

Great spiritual fellowship, high quality instruction in fly fishing skills, outstanding meals, AND good fishing.

 

LODGING:

Bunkhouse style cabins are provided and house 8 –12 individuals.  There is also limited space for tents and small RVs.  NOTE: The CANA cabin has been designated for those needing to use a sleep apnia device.   Since sleeping is in bunkhouse style cabins you may want to bring ear/noise protection.

 

NO LIFEGUARDS, so NO SWIMMING.  This includes all forms of water play!

 

FISHING: Fishing requires an Oregon Angler license and is at your OWN RISK, we do NOT guide.  Please practice “catch and release” angling.  We are NOT able to refrigerate, freeze, provide ice, or otherwise care for your catch.

 

REFUNDS:  We will do our best if we have reasonable notification but a service charge of $10.00 will be made. (no refunds after May 8 unless it is a verifiable emergency.)

Directions From The Dalles: (Suggestion: take time to look up the camp location on Map Quest, etc..)

Take the Dufur\Bend exit (#87) South on Hwy. 197 about 33 miles. Turn right at the flashing light into Tygh Valley.  At the intersection in Tygh Valley, turn right onto Wamic Market Road and follow it about 6 miles to the intersection in Wamic.  Go straight onto Dodson Rd. and follow it 3 miles. (Dodson Rd. becomes Morrow   Rd.) Camp Morrow will be on your right.  Camp Morrow is on the west shore of Pine Hollow Res.  If you get lost, phone the kitchen or camp 'boss' and we'll lead you in!  (Gary’s cell phone is 503-260-3954)

 

House Rules for CFFR

The following Camp Morrow policies WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED! 

 We appreciate and expect your cooperation.

Note that the camp has made some changes from previous years.

Camp is open for registration beginning at 2:00 p.m.!  Campers are NOT permitted into the cabins prior to registration.   After you register you will select and move into a cabin and return to the registration desk for your free gift and raffle ticket.

No driving on lawn to launch boats at Camp Morrow lakeshore, including trailers or car/truck toppers.  Boats on trailers will need to be launched at designated boat launches.  Public use boat ramps are located on both the east and west sides of the dam.  Vessels that can be hand carried from designated camp parking to the lakeshore are fine (canoes, pontoons, float tubes etc.).

Friday night dinner will be served from 6:30 pm to 7:15 pm.  Please do not expect meals to be held for you.  Immediately after serving us our kitchen crew will be preparing the next day’s menu.
